How long do roofs last?

It depends on the type of roof you have. An asphalt shingle roof can last up to 20 years, a metal roof can last up to 50 years, and TPO roofing can last up to 30 years. How much does a new roof cost?

The cost of a roof installation depends on a variety of factors such as the roofing material used, the size of your roof, and if you are having the old shingles torn off. On average, the typical asphalt shingle roof will run between $7,000 and $10,000. Prices are subject to change though and the factors mentioned above are also to be considered.

What should I ask a roofing contractor that I want to hire?

Hiring the cheapest contractor you can find may seem like a great idea at the time, but it is not always.
